uBlock is a free, open-source ad blocker that provides a distraction-free internet on Chrome and Edge.

uBlock removes intrusive ads, including those in YouTube videos, protects against malware, speeds browsing, and blocks tracking tools.

Ideal for non-technical users, uBlock uses a "set and forget" approach. It activates upon installation and requires minimal customization. You can pause uBlock to allow ads temporarily or disable it on specific sites.

If you want more options, our sister extensions, AdBlock and Adblock Plus, let you add custom filters, enable Acceptable Ads, disable the software on specific sites, block elements, and more.

AdBlock and Adblock Plus are used by over 180 million people and maintained by the same developers as uBlock – a team committed to making the internet safer and better.

uBlock is an independent product and is in no way affiliated with UBlock Origin.
